Unfortunately none of them were 12m ;)

Couldn't easily make out the courtesy flags. Morocco?

Boat to have is in the second pic, 4th from left, blue bimini :)

Nice pics thanks

Yep , Puerto Banus , quit a few gaps and a lot for sale signs and some very unloved boats ? . Last visited about 10 years ago and its not such a pleasant place to wander about anymore .

I was last there about five years ago and it was still very busy with very few moorings available, so this seems to suggest a recent decline in popularity.

I agree with your sentiments that it isn't as pleasant as it once was. I was quite shocked to witness its drop in cleanliness and general state of the buildings....also some quite unsavioury shops and characters.

Have to agree with the above posts. Having visited Puerto Banus, I can't say i'd be in a rush to go back (and I was 24 when there last year!) - Very 'in your face', dirty, and I got a bit tired of asking if I wanted to pay for a ride... did they think that the GF linked to me was just for company or something?!

Having said that, some nice and affordable restaurants right at the marina, which was a pleasant surprise

I know I know! Was hoping you wouldn't notice :D. I've never been to Banus (and don't particularly plan to) so I don't really know what it looks like.

Anyway, and moving swiftly on, in the penultimate pic, right in the centre of the frame below the round tower, to the port side of the ISA, is that hull#1 of the Princess 32m? I thought it was going further, middle east or somehwere. Maybe it's doing a Med season first.

If you are correct(and somehow I doubt you're wrong;)) I must say how impressive your knowledge is.:D:cool:

Yep , there was deffo a big princess buried amongst that lot , cant remember the name though , And yes there were lots of flash mercs , ferraris , bentleys and gold chains , not to mention the inflated young ladies in impossible heels ( never be able to board a boat dressed like that :D )

Sounds like the state of the Spanish economy, the value of the Euro frightening away Brits and the matriculation tax thing frightening away boats have all taken their toll. I last visited about 4yrs ago and it was buzzing then
