holding tank

Hi, just wondering if anyone out there has experience of fitting a holding tank , have been told I will have to have one if we are to use the boiat on the Thames [non tidal] the boat is a sunseeker 39, thanks

I fitted one on my boat a couple of years ago. Strait forward enough job. Get the tank as close as possible to the toilet. will need a vent pipe to the outside of hull.I didn't bother with a filter and never had any smells. Tek-tanks will make you a custom built tank and have some good information about layout on their website.
