Holding tank level monitor

I'd like one, too. I had an internal one fitted in my Tek Tank from new (cost me £80) and it seized after a month. You don't open up the tank to remove it and send it back, do you?! Someone commented that it all depends on how much fat the users have in their diets. Well, you don't ask THAT either!!??

Would you care to share your ideas with me - I have time to spare and am an electronics engineer so might be interested in collaborating. PM if you'd like to exchange a non-disclosure agreement, if you see a commercial opportunity here.

I saw on once that used some metal tape attached to the sude of a plastic only tank for water, diesel of holding tank level.

I have some capactive type senders using 4-20ma current loop for my water and diesel but my waste tank I an fitting a simple level switch to indicate when its full but need to be fitted inside tank.

I will look for details of metal tape on outside of thank and post when I find the info.

There is a company advertising external as well as internal sensors in PBO this month. Have just seen it in the library. Under £30. About page 126 from memory and in the bottom left hand corner.

Have seen some tank hatches that have a clear see through lid so if you have access to view the top of the tank you can see what's inside!!! yuk!
Else if you have room on a side fit two connections, one at the top and another near the bottom and connect with a clear plastic tube. need to be at least 3/4" so it won't get blocked!!! This works fine on my tank.
