This is a copy of a PM sent to Neale at IPC today. If you are using LPG, does this situation have any similarities to your own?

Hi Neale,

Something blindingly obvious struck me today. At Pwllheli marina, where they sell LPG, it must be economical for them to be there. Not because the fuelling berth sells lots on its own per se, but more the fact that there another 3 LPG sellers within 1/4 mile - indeed on the same Glan-y-Don industrial estate that has grown up around the marina. There is Hardy's garage, the biggest (and probably only) LPG service and sales centre in North Wales, then there is Llyn Marine, who do LPG sales and service and last but not least there is a Calor bottled gas unit on the same estate. It would, therefore, be unreasonable for Calor to site economics as a reason for pulling out. I wonder if similarities to this situation exists in other areas where marinas have spawned large industrial estates?? Worth asking, isn't it, and I would be very grateful if you would do so on our behalf.

Cheers
Dave.

In my case all Calor would have to do is act a bit more joined up in their delivery processes.
