Hms pursuer visits tarbert

HMS Pursuer is an Archer Class P2000 coastal training vessel of the First Patrol Boat Squadron operated by the Royal Navy, powered by 4, Perkins 4108 diesels giving a maximum speed of 3kts. (in case the trainees get it wrong)

Left the Clyde last December for Tarbert, Loch Fyne.

Not until a few mins ago although I have now been enlightened by Mr Google. I have however spent many happy hours thrashing about on P2000s.

And I do have a sense of humour... it just needs to be activated by something vaguely funny. I just didn't get the point of the thread... sorry.

Me too.

And the batch 2 (HMS Raider and HMS Tracker) do in excess of 20kts making it a lot more funwith someone else paying for the fuel! Sad day when Cambridge had to give Raider back to the regulars.

IIRC it was on Pursuer and Dasher around the eastern Med
