Yes but they don't look like they'd be very roadworthy, and besides, I'd bet they didn't have the in depth scientific research this beauty did.

MajorC, the one on your second pic, Stromberg 46, was exhibited at the antibes boat show 2 weekends ago. I had a look. It wasn't any nicer in the flesh than in those pictures.
The designers seem to think that boat buyers crave for saloon space so much that they're prepared to sacrifice foredeck, side decks and good looks, just to to get more of it. A mistake, I think.
