The unwell masses? (;-)……..where does his patients come from?
Your Baltic Trader model sounds much more interesting .I made some “waterline models” that were basically just having a free hand with shape and rig I just don’t how ever much I try have the model makers skill.I would say Mr Wandsworth that they seem to have a degree of slapdash on their finish, possibly exaggerated by the camera work.
Personally I only made one model ship and it is gathering dust on a shelf. However it is a small perspex shelf in a predominant place
so that any rare visitor cannot help but admire. I admit it was a kit, but, I had to 'carve' the hull and deck 'planks'. Lilla Dan a Baltic Trader
(which resembled a friends ship). I came within a few miles of it in Denmark. Was this called a Billings Kit I think?
I had great pleasure, up to a point, in the many hours of miniscule glueing and fettling. At that time in my life I was going through a divorce
and managing a classical music shop in the cultured depths of Suffolk. ( avoiding alimony). A therapy perhaps. But a damn fine ship as a result.
( I enclosed a £5 note and a written note for posterity ).
My conclusion is that one is enough. (thank you for the video though).
