Hippo Buoy

Any ideas for breathing new life into a Hippo buoy? The stuffing in the top edge has disintegrated after years of being battered by the bow of the boat. Last year I tried injecting some PU foam but that failed miserably so need something more substantial.

Sorry, can’t help with repair ideas but replaced mine with a poly form type from the chandlers on Canvey. Very similar and has done the job well. Wasn’t cheap though!
