Not sure if this is the right place but...

Anyone in need of a service for their outboard in Cornwall or Devon would do well to contact Monkfish24 of these hallowed forums.

He does this in his spare time, but he will come to your house, is meticulous, very reasonably priced and, to top it all, he's a thoroughly nice bloke as well as being a keen sailor.

No connection, other than as owner of a beautifully serviced outboard...:)

Many thanks K!

Glad you are happy with my work, It's always nice to know as an engineer that a customer is happy!

No worries Monkfish. I'm sure there are others whose outboards would benefit from your attention. Thanks for your help today.

Hi, Monkfish, I have a Suzuki DF 25 2007 Four stroke which is producing white smoke on the exhaust and the oil light is coming on when in high revs. Any chance of service etc. She has only recently (May 2013) had a service with new oil filter, oil and impellor. I am located in Launceston.

Thanks

GJV

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, I just wanted to post that I am no longer carrying out outboard servicing as I have taken up my dream career in superyachting, as an engineer.

Thank you to all who have contacted me, I am planning on restarting marine maintenance in Cornwall in the near future but aiming more at electrics.

Many Thanks
James
