see www.beneteau-owners-association.org.uk and the post on the forum under Le Chat or help, apparently reverse gear failed on his 41, anyone else have the same sort of prob with the particular volvo gear?

Was out sailing a new 411 last weekend equiped with a volvo 55. The boat had a folding prop. It a good job that there we were going slow, and that there was a lot of room available when reverse was engaged.

It took a long time for the boat to actually go in reverse and there was a very significant kick to port.
