Thanks to everyone for their comments during my recent problems. The up-to-date situation is thus: a phone call to Suzuki ( nice people - Mr Austin and colleagues) showed that the problem company, Steeldevelopments, had failed to discover that an adaptation kit was required to fit the new prop to my engine. They just fobbed me off with excuses. A quick phone call to the agents Dale Sailing (wonderful) and an extra 60quid solved my problem at a stroke.
Moral! Don't trust so-called experts and don't expect help when dealing with the above
