Just been browsing around BBC tide tables, Les minquiers next monday -- 12.8 metre high - 0.4 metre low ,:eek: Are they normal springs or are they especially high because of moons position at mo .

on 19th March the moon will be closest to earth in 20 plus years 227,000 miles, this will mean the moon on the 19th will appear 30% brighter and 14% larger than normal full moons, and spring tides will be higher/lower than normal
