djefabs should have the details as we managed to track down the manufacturer of the lift used on my Elling. He has that unit fitted in his Squaddie now and very smart it is too...
Same post on PBO - I wonder how long it will be before another "new user" posts a link? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Can you post it publically please. Even if you are involved commercially, I know DJEFans went to a lot of trouble to find the info, so if there is any easy route for the rest of us then please let us know.
I think it is probably something quite a few people would like to retrofit to their boats.
My business is to Supply Hire and install Audio Visual and IT solutions into commercial and residential sites, which includes automated Projector and Plasma lifts, Brackets etc.
We have a number of products that would suit potential marine installations and are currently setting up a new dept to concentrate in this area.
We also have been trying for months on and off to find a suitable lift for a 15" - 18" TV. The only quotes I could get were for 1,500 Euros and £850.00 - so we are obviously looking in the wrong places.
Would be very interested in sourcing something that does not cost 5 times the price of the TV.
Remote power actuated lifts are used in these applications, with Pop up closures to hide the TV when not used.
Plenty of low price stuff around which is fine for the home office but won't last two minutes in the marine environment.
That said the market does need a low cost, quality lift for smaller TV's that dont require the lift power. especially when the TV is only costing a few hundred pounds.
We are working on a manual gas lift system which can cope with the vibration and open air environment, whilst providing an efficient, compact operation at a a sensible price.
