Hello every one. This is the best forum ever!some one always helps me here. I am sitting on the back of my Randal 34 at rottnest island in Western Australia at 3.30 in the morning and it is a balmy 26 degrees. Not bragging, just wanted to say hi to all of you wonderful folk in the UK. I love the banter and the signatures on the forums that you pommies have(written with effection) have. The Yanks and and others could never come close to you. (nothing wrong with the folks in the USA but those in the UK have. The best sence of humour)

Where do you leave from? Freemantle?

G'day mate.We were in Perth for Australia day and watched the fireworks from Kings Park. Never seen fireworks from the back of jet PWC's before! We were going on a day trip to Rotto but it was 43C and we didn't fancy walking around in the heat

But flipping heck, Perth is a bloody expensve place to visit, especially with the exchange rate at $1.42 to the pound. In fact you should be over in the UK taking advantage of the cheap pound!

We keep the boat at Royal Perth Yacht Club in Perth City www.rpyc.com.au so we have a one hour cruise down the Swan River to Fremantle and then 9NM a cross to Rottnest Island (Rotto) When at Rotto we are on Rotto time .... Eat when you are hungry, sleep when you are tired and drink, well drink most of the time.

26 DEGS !!!!...at 3.30am????!!!!!!......NOT BRAGGING?!?!?!?!?!? .........hope yer Fosters boils before you can drink it !!!!!!!!................... no consideration some people !!!..................................... AND i bet there,s not a ripple on the water !!!!!

My turn to brag, it was 18c here last week in sunny Scotland. If it gets any warmer people will be fainting in the streets!

Lived in Sydney/Wagga and Tamworth for 3 years back in the 70s - loved it.

Aussies don't drink Fosters! And you are correct my friend , not a ripple in sight. Cheers from down under. :)

I did smile when I saw SteveDunstable's Fosters comment.

I was having a chat with a guy in a bar at Wellington Point one evening, (Castlemaine country - other side of Oz for those that don't know) saying how strange it was that there's a bloody great Fosters brewery in Sydney, and yet you can't buy the stuff in Oz.

Outcome of the conversation was, that Fosters is shit, but the Poms love it, so we send it over by the boat load!!

..........Along with the Jacobs Creek, Oxford Landing & Lindemans etc etc :-)

Shame they don't stick a few Hahn Lights in with it, 'cos I miss that in UK

Perhaps we could send you a couple of our politicians as well! Namely our PM and leader of the opposition. Nah, you guys don't deserve that and Fosters as well. That would be just too much. :)
