I'm new to the forum and thought I'd drop by and say hi.

The reason is I have just put a deposit down a very pretty (IMHO) 22' 1950 classic broads yacht, which needs some TLC. I hope to be able to find advice here when I need it. She's being surveyed later this month and from what I can see she just needs re-varnishing and anti-fouling. Shes been out the water since November and there is some small gaps in the hull planking but I'm hoping they will take-up.

So anyhow - Hi all :)

Advice on classic Broads yachts from one with scars and T shirt. DON'T!

Hull looked OK - I've owned her for twenty years. 39 new timbers in port side. All bar three new deck beams, new deck, new cabin top new half sheer strakes, several new 20' lengths of planking etc., etc.
