Hi all,
As the title says, i'm new to the world of sailing.
i'v had speed boats in the past for a number of years but never really thought about sailing, however now that i want to buy another boat, i'v increasingly found myself looking at sailing boats..
What i'm asking is, if there is anyone in the cardiff area (or either side of the channel for that matter) who would welcome me along for a few hours or even a day out on the water? i'd be more than happy to contribute to costs etc,
as i'd like to get to know people and get a feel for sailing. (just say if i'm being cheeky)
i'm going to book an RYA sailing course(weekend) and try and get as much experience before i venture out on whatever sail boat i decide to buy!
i have learnt in the past that experience outweighs any qualification!
