I'm a Maori-born sailor (at least that's what my friend from the French embassy accused me of!). I'm big, dark and no one knows where the hell their genes come from - eh? I've been reading the board. Great board. Great info. Good luck to all you Brits and your amazing knowledge about sailing, from which I have learnt a good deal, not least how to ignore those mizz knowalls from across the sea. Australia, we aren't listening!. I notice one of our countrymen is offering to grass you all for some imagined offences re use of the HF radio. I just want to reassure you that this isn't the attitude of the most of our countrymen. Sheesh - I find it a bit embarrassing. Happy crimbo all

Merry Christmas to you, too. I haven't posted much (only one, I think) but I too have leaned a great deal from reading the board. I daren't criticise the Kiwis too much as I married one, but they certainly have some great sailing grounds down there. Well worth a visit if anyone has the time.
