It's good to mull, wine or ideas, until they clear and you can consumate the action. And sometimes in the life you just dance through on instinct (FINGERS CROSSED)
I once had a beau who was a professor of decision management (something like that) and I said to him
"When I have insufficient information and have to make a decisiion, I sometimes toss a coin"
(If you follow this road, you gotta stick with it)
(In heavy weather, in the dark, it is not recommended)
"That is as good a way as any" was the learned love's reply.
I thought this post was going to be about elderly lady drivers.
That reminds me many years ago when my son was three, Dearheart
and I went toured Devon and Cornwall. Son in the back intently watching the road ahead.
After driving for several hundred miles and nearly home, we rounded a bend and found a district nurse dawdling along in the middle of the road. A small voice piped up from the back "Oh no, another bl**dy Mini"
The version of this I was told in my formative years was: "If you can't decide, toss a coin, and see if the outcome is what in your heart of hearts you wanted it to be."
(And if not, go the other way.) Oddly enough, this seems to work.
