Re: He\'s still trying to sell it !!

Surely the rules of supply and demand say if someones prepared to pay it then thats it's value, personally I would tell him to shove it where the sun don't shine but if someones daft enough to not check prices then buyer beware.
Theres a lot of stuff on ebay dearer than the normal supply route but if people are too lazy to look around it's there problem.
Idiots only have themselves to blame.

Yes but if he sells it watch out half these forums will be at it. Indeed as all the annodes are bought up there will be a supply problem which will force the price up creating an even bigger demand to resell.

Anyone want some tulips:

As the Netherlands went through a period of unprecedented economic boom in the first half of the 17th century, competition among growers started, who will have the most beautiful tulip. People were ready to pay extraordinary sums of money for a single bulb. It seemed that if they would have carefully cultivated their tulips they could have never lost, getting more and of precious bulbs, while the prices rose constantly. Slowly the intense speculation started and batches of some rare bulbs had a higher price than a house and were growing in value. In 1635, a set of 40 bulbs has been sold for 100,000 florins while a medium yearly income in the Netherlands at the time was 150 florins.

45 quid... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Having said that, if someone is daft enough to pay that for it, then fair play.

A 'friend' when at Uni, needing extra spends, being well into his fleabay, often brought say a mid range TV as example, brought it from Tesco / Currys etc. Flowers up the description - keeping all factually correct and honest. Puts +£?? to the purchase price and sells it!!!!

Really, just the fact that its fleabay, some out there think it must be a bargain..
