Has anyone tried them ? Looks like a viable alternative to St Kats or Limehouse without the tide window worry.

There is a post on here somewhere from the Moorings manager saying they have a visitors pontoon avaliable, an inside position with less wash problems was quoted. Would be ok for a quick overnight and early start to avoid locking into a marina, haven't tried it myself though.

I have used them for an overnight stop and found them very convenient. However I must emphasise it was some considerable time ago and things may well have changed.

Good for an overnight stop but the wash can be vicious. As a community mooring, they probably need all the income they can get so it would be good to support them.

Some very good pubs nearby - the Captain Kidd, Town of Ramsgate and Prospect of Whitby all on Wapping High Street and withing staggering distance.
