Hermitage have the first few boats moored alongside, slightly ahead of the construction schedule I think.

They are situated just downstream of the fuel barge by St Kat's and handy for pub (Town of Ramsgate) and Waitrose - not to mention the shops on Wapping Lane.

The plan was to have visitor moorings available, though as the moorings are for 'historic' craft, not sure of there'll be any restrictions on who is allowed to stop over.

An interesting alternative to St Kat's, their website is at:

http://www.hcmoorings.org/index.htm

Visitor moorings: "Please note that there are no facilities available on the moorings, and there is no shore access. "
Not as good as it could have been!

That will, I think, change. There is already shore access and there is electricity and water on the pontoons. I think the period of no facilities has passed, the website just needs updating.
