"The world's largest seahorse has been discovered by a fisherman off the British coast, sparking fresh hope for the threatened mystical creatures. The whopping 13-inch spiny seahorse was accidentally hauled in by Michael Bailey while he was out fishing for mullet in Poole Harbour, Dorset."

"His latest capture is the largest seahorse ever recorded in the wild in the world."

"We see around 30 seahorses a year but there was something very special about this one."

Fisherman's tales? But talk to any inshore fisherman in the Channel and you will find they see them regularly. They all know of NGM, but very few bother to report sightings. Most of them fear he will interfere with their fishing grounds if they report regular sightings.

Having spoken to many its very clear seahorse sightings are quite common, and all the fuss NGM makes is simply his ignorance: he spends too much time messing about in Studland. Just because I've never seen a Badger in my back garden doesn't mean they are rare. Same thing. Nice place Studland fora swim, though!
