I happened to be watching this young ladies adventures the other night on youtube & it was described as a young lady sailing alone......though she seemed to have a 'friend' sailing close by happily in his own boat.
I wonder if Dylan has got a bevy of birds in their own boats loitering just out of camera shot.Dylan groupies? ;)

Yes I saw that. Her boat is now up for sale as they are 'consolidating'!

Dylan, you know, a film producer on his private yacht, exudes that sort of sex appeal with his anti-snob approach.

my buttocks clenched.....

....when I read this

"Teresa's goal is to share meaningful thoughts on her exploration of simple living, to help sailors with life aboard, and to inspire others to chase their own creative dream through honest and uplifting writing"

the aim is to sail north until they find an iceberg

mind you..... she and her boat are prettier than I am - actually even the bloke is prettier than I am

I think KTL needs a mission statement - open to suggestions chaps

very good

"Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm"

?

I like to look upon them as minor setbacks rather than failures

although I am sure that some of them are self inflicted by my desire to get on with the sailing and leaving the maintenance until later

enthusiasm - still having the most wonderful fun - wish I had started doing this years ago

but at the time the technology was too expensive for the filming and there was no internet to help with the financing

I like to think

"To the East Coast, and then take it slowly"

Mind you, take as long as you fancy Dylan, it's an Odyssey and fun for us to be a vicarious part of it.

.[/QUOTE

very good - and if you are going to go slowly then you should do the crinkly biys slowly

I like to think that it is detailed rather than slow

although it is slow

but while in wells I met four people who were ooing around the UK in a couple of ribs

and that night they were going to be in Brightlingsea

In one day they would be sweeping past Blakeney Harbour, the Broads, The Blythe, the Alde, The Ore, The Butley, the Deben, the Orwell, Stour and Backwaters - all of which I thoroughly enjoyed and savoured

they freely admitted that after a long rib drive such as that thier brains are mush
which is appropriate given the charity they were "doing it for"

so if you want to follow a fast journey around the UK then their blog is here

http://taketworibs.blogspot.com/

so you are right - I should go faster - and I should be doing it for some sort of charidy
