Here's a jolly cheap boat for someone

Now that is a cheap boat. Grp, sailable, not one of these sheds you see with greedy sellers trying to get money for dog****.

I am amazed no-one has bought it. Even more amazed someone messed him about.
Maybe the mooring is £3K a year?

45 people are watching this. I'm not sure what they are expecting it to do... I wonder if the seller popped a few hundred more quid on the asking price if it wouldn't move a bit quicker?

Almost (but only almost) tempted to buy it trail to Southampton, service the engine and sell it during boatshow weekend.

I bought my boat on ebay on the middle Saturday of the boatshow. Seller had her in Portland and I am convinced he would have doubled his money if he sailed her round to Hamble before he sold her. There were five others interested but they all wanted to see her local to Southampton.

In the end he sold her to e and part of the deal was that he helped me to sail here round to Swanwick!

Would not say its that big a Bargin, if outboard U/S then there is an issue unless you happen to have one..

Having said that it strikes me as the sort of thing you could but and sail away having allot of Dylan style adventures. Hell if you use her for a week and give her away its cheaper than hotel bills!

That's the point, unless one lives near, the cost of sailing her to a buyer what with harbour dues and curry & beer for crew or transporting her around will be more than the boat.

I hope she finds the right new owner.
