Seeing reports of more gales etc and usually take them with a pinch of salt. However Southeastern trains have already alerted passengers to reduced speeds tomorrow night... And news like this doesn't help...

Hope the bad weather hasn't effected you too badly Andy, we lost some of the covers over Christmas and had to have new ones made up

Sorry to hear about yours - who did you get to replace? Touch wood we were ok thanks. We went down last week and.gave the covers a wash but a couple of zips just didn't want to "knit" when we put them back, thankfully not in any too critical places, but am waiting for dealer to come back with a repair or replace offer ... Fingers crossed well get through this one.... If it arrives

Unfortunately this years "winter" seems to be a never ending cycle of March winds and heavy April showers ....

Went to an open day at the Met Office in Exeter yesterday with a group from my marina.

Fascinating looking at the process that goes into producing a forecast. Lots of very bright folks working 24/7/365 to bring us reliable information.

Doesn't change the fact that the weather is crappy but interesting non the less.
