I haven't been to Street for a few years, but it used to be 30 shoe shops with some houses added for good measure, all selling slightly damaged shoes.
It used to be the location of the Clarkes shoe factory.

Clarkes village in Street is a designer outlet centre. A number of companies have outlet shops there (M&S, Next, Wranglers, Cotton traders, Tog24 etc.) The Henri Lloyd shop often have some good bargains at the back of the shop. They had the 20% off signs up when I was there last Monday.

OK, Thanks for that, everyone. It sounds like it's a bit of a trek from Bridgend.

Louise is doing race training in Neyland on Wednesday night and saw a really nice Gil suit in Cardiff on Saturday. It's still in Cardiff for the moment and I've got 'picture no sound', so I'll have to sort something soon.

I was hoping that the owner of the boat would kit out the crew in all the latest goretex gear, but apparently it doesn't work like that, the husband pays for everything.....
