I have to replace the Henderson Mk V manual bilge pump fitted on the coaming of our Westerly Storm. The pump is bolted from inside the cockpit locker with four bolts and the rocker arm socket emerges into the copckpit side via a rubber bellows seal retained bya plastic ring.

The only replacement option appears to be the Mk V Universal and I can't quite see how I can configure it to the same installation as the old one. The rocker arm seems to come out of the wrong place and to make it work the pump would need to be installed via the two upper lugs and would be on its back and unlikely to work. I had assumed that the through bulkhead option would fit the bill, but in order to do that the rocker needs to come out of the back of the pump. Anyone know if you can reconfigure the pump to suit my arrangement? I may not have explained that very well, but if you are confused, have a look at the Whale pumps marine section on the internet ( One day I'll work out how to put in a url!)
