heres my dilema, i want to be a sailor, i have no boat , i dont know how to sail, i have to wait till im sixty , before i have the time to try this, is it wort my while waiting, or should i abandon this dream, i love reading all you guys post's of your experience's is this as far as i will get,

You must live within reasonable distance of some water - either reservoir, lake, or sea where folk go sailing. Why not pop along and talk to the people, there will almost certainly be someone there who will take you out and 'show you the ropes'.
Then maybe you can start small with a little sailing dinghy or trailer cruiser - that's how it all started for most of us.

My first sailing was with an old gentlman who sailed a clinker dingy on the east coast. He sailed competantly on his own but needed sombody young and strong to keep up with the bailing!! There are dozens of such craft abandoned around the coast, get one and either some sealant or a bucket and start now.
