I have just had my engine and leg serviced and during the run up following a misfire was identified - on further inspection (and cost:disgust it was identified that the head (no3 inlet port) was corroded/ rotted through so its scrap. Now here's the hard part - engine is an OMC 2.5 unit form about 1988. The rest of the boat is fine and I am loathe to sell it as a 'project' BUT, at the same time its not worth chucking a new engine and leg in. If anyone has a head knocking around their garage/shed/kitchen then I would really appreciate hearing from you !
