Just done a compresion test on my 3GM and after three or four wheezy compressions there was a rattle and a clatter and bits flew about and fell into the (deep) engine bay.
No one had thought to advise in the manuals that turning the engne over on the starter might spit the precombustion chamber internals. How thoughtful of them. Who would have guessed?
I've only found half the bits - anyone got one lying around, perhaps in a scrap head?
Does anyone have a spare one - a used one from a scrap head would be fine - that I could grab Saturday - by the time the thieves at Barrus have sent me one I'll be grounded for another week!
