Help with old Taylor\'s Paraffin Heater

I have an 'old' model header tanker for my Taylor's heater, the problem is the pressure gauge has stopped working. The new style tank has a different gauge and therefore does not fit. Has anyone met this problem and solved without buying a new tank, circa £250.00?

Re: Help with old Taylor\'s Paraffin Heater

What is the connecting thread between the gauge and the tank ?
What is the pressure range ?
Do you want it in brass / stainless steel?
etc. etc.

If you put "pressure gauge" into Google then you can take your pick.......

There is no need to get an identical gauge (to fit the filler cap) - just fit a tee in the fuel line from the tank and a new gauge. You will probably need an adapter and a short length of small diameter copper pipe.
I bought some fittings from http://www.indanc.com/

These people are going to supply me with a female-female adapter to fit the new gauge to the old tank. Thanks for the thoughts.
