Help with MF805 screen washers

I have had the Merry Fisher 805 for one season now, and just before the winter the screen washers gave up. Jets are clear and the washer pump behind the helm position runs fine but the supply to the pump is dry. The user manual says nothing about the screen washer plumbing, but a Jeanneau dealer says it takes its supply from the main water tank (full at the time), not a separate reservoir.

I am sure I am just being dim here, but hopefully someone can set me straight as to how the supply is connected. I have looked at the back end of the water tank from the stern locker end but cannot see the pipe there or a connection to the tank.

Any troubleshooting information gratefully received !!

Just seen this. If its any help, my one has the washer bottle supply situated behind the clock and barometer panel. Bit of a pain to re-fill everytime as it involved removing/replacing 4 screws so I made a modification with 2 hinges and a latch assembly. Don't know if its the same arrangement on all 805's.

Mine takes it's water from a car style tank behind the helm, look in the cupboard under the heads sink.

My MF 925 is the same as Paul, located in a cupboard under the sink in the heads.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I was down the boat today but came back before I saw this. I will check next time and see whether I have a bottle too.

Just seen this, but the other guys are right and your dealer needs to learn to PDi his boats better so he knows his way round them when he gets asked another question!
