Help with identifying Yacht Club Initials

We have recently purchased a 1935 36ft Gentleman's Motor Yacht (Anoma) and have an old lifebelt with the Initials VTSC, overpainted with HBYC. Can anyone help me identify what they stand for please?

Just a thought, stuff changes hands, how likely is it that this stuff has stayed with the boat? I did a search on Google & got nothing for VTSC, and all the HBYC were US clubs. But, then many clubs have changed names/ amalgamated or closed down over the years and some of the smaller, more traditional clubs may not have a web presence. There have also been company associated clubs from that era when most people worked for very big employers.
