Hi Guys,
we are currently sitting on the south coast of the Uk in our winter berth, bored and awaiting a break in the heavy rain showers before we nip out for a walk and a breath of fresh air.
I started to think of how I could connect our ageing Simrad CX44 NMEA input to the outside world and started searching on the internet trying to find out what type of connection socket Simrad used on the rear of the unit. It is a circular plug with 9 pins and a locating pin and the plug locks by pushing home and turning the outside shroud a 1/2 turn - I think.
If anybody can help me identify this socket I would be most grateful(I thought that it would be easier getting hold of the correct plug instead of doing some soldering to the pins directly).
Fair Winds
Stephen.
