Help wanted - Laser Radial

I am looking for an old Laser radial sail (I already have the diddy mast section) so that I can encourage my Grand-daughter & her mates to take it out at the annual family gathering at Bala this year. Even a knackered full size sail might do as I can cut it down - or a 4.7, but the full rig is designed for a 13stone sailor & they are under 6st soaking wet.

If I have the smaller rig I can let them play on their own a bit & with the GP14 still be able to catch 'em up & bring 'em back if it goes wrong. The great thing about a lake is that they can't drift any further than the far shore!

Happy to pay a reasonable price (or donation to charity of your choice) plus postage, but all the stuff on e-bay has been going way out of my reach. Possibly even a non-Laser sail with a similar mast pocket arrangement would do, Windsurfer perhaps? W.H.Y.

If you're stuck I have both the radial and 4.7 for our laser. Neither will be used until much later in the year so you are welcome to borrow either provided they are returned. Radial is older, 4.7 is pretty new. I may also have an old full sail you can have FOC to cut down if prefered.

Thanx Dave, condition is not important, the hull is years old & ex-Uni sailing club, so has had a hard life already. I'd be reluctant to borrow a sail for fear of the g-kids damaging it, but if you have a spare old sail, I would happily pay postage plus a bit & risk remaking the luff & head to trim it down to the shorter mast length.
