Help, taps!

If you can believe it, some thieving sh*te-hawk has stolen the taps off our transom shower! Of all the things to nick, why the hell take the taps?

Anyway, I'm having a hell of a job finding replacements. Anyone know who makes the damn things? Seem to be standard fitting on Sealine/Fairline. Not the type where it's all in a recessed box, this has a hole with a rubber flap that teh shower head sits in, and a hot and cold tap head sticking through the transom below.

Hythe marina, right by the fuel berth... What annoys me is that I used to know who made them, cos I replaced the whole shower on our old boat. Doh!

Have you asked the Lock-Office to review the CCTV tapes to see if the arse-wipe was caught on candid camera?

Came by the other day to pop my head round to say hello but no-one home, err - no it wasnt me that had your shower heads away!

Sorry to hear this ...... I have found sealine hq to be most helpful for advice etc from time to time. Give them a ring and ask if they have a set of taps for you.

Just gave them a call - parts dept is closed on Fridays. Presumably because they get too busy with people trying to get stuff ready for the weekend...

Spoke to Sealine Sales. Apparently, the problem is so widespread they remove them from their stock boats to stop them getting knicked. When I get some new ones, I'm going to fit them with small explosive devices that will blow off the fingers of anyone who touches them. And only use the shower indoors in future.
