I posted this is PBO but no results and thought perhaps the gentlemen of my local river might have some input.
Can anyone help me please? I'm refurbishing an ancient grp cruiser and have removed the leaking windows where the rubber "H" section had perished and was leaking. I've got new rubber from Seals Direct, and where the front windows are slightly curved plastic I've cut new ones. The sides are aluminium framed that fit into the same sort of rubber section, which is then fixed by fitting a filler piece.
I'm too old, have a bad back, and only two arms, these windows are defeating me and "doing my head in" as the kids say. I'm getting most depressed and very bad-tempered and that's not good for my family around me.
Does anyone know of a moonlighting window fitter in the Sandhurst area who could fit these for me. Even with my neighbour and myself our efforts only succeeded in cracking one of the new windows. I have the rubber, the filler strip, and the tools, I just don't have the expertise, or I'm afraid, the patience!
