Anyone any experience of applying paint onto Sikaflex?
I have covered parts of my deck with Sikaflex 298 to create an even finish where old deck paint has flaked. The Sikaflex has gone on beautifully.
I have painted it with Dulux Weathershield containing aggregate to give a slip resistant finish. Looks great but the weathershield is refusing to go off, it dries very quickly but does not go hard.
I am looking for a primer or undercoat that I can apply to the Sikaflex before using the Weathershield.
Anyone done this to save me lots of trial and error sessions?

I have painted my boat with weathershield, as you stated it dries but take a long time to go hard, it is just the makup of weathershield in my case I wasent worried but it did take several weeks for it to harden. I.M.H.O it was worth the wait. If it is the Sikaflex that is causing the problem I cant advise didnt have that problem.
