i am having a hell of a job finging 8mm gas hose , the gas hose is flexbull with copper ends swage on to the rubber flexbull gas hose and some is Armoured Stainless hose ?

Can I use 5/16" fittings on 8mm copper pipe?
shops seem to sell some metric, some imperial... a rough calculation makes them seem almost the same but the product descriptions don't mention it being the same as an 8mm fitting. this is for a gas fitting in a camper.

1/4" & 6m/m
5/16"& 8m/m
are compatible

Try B.E.S.. I used them when I recently did all my gas pipes on board and found them very good. Only issue was I had to buy straight sided copper "sleeves" for the compression fiuttings from force 4.

Mmmmmm!!

Can I respectfully suggest that making up your own gas piping with various fittings that may or may not be compatible might be a tad risky, not too say probably invalidating your insurance etc etc.

Would it not be better and safer to pay a few quid to someone who is registered for doing that type of work and then you, and the boats in the vicinity, will be able to sleep safe and sound? ;)

u tell me wher i can get a 8mm -to-5/16 COMPRESSION FITTING

but its saft to ues 5/16 pipe on a 8mm COMPRESSION FITTING
but u got to ues a new 5/16 ferrule on a 5/16 pipe and it will fit a 8mm COMPRESSION FITTING
