Hi - I'm stuck in port with problems with my Lombardini LDW903M Diesel enging TMC40 Gearbox. Friday night and no shops open till Monday. How much oil does the gearbox take? Can anybody help please?

Tecnodrive website says use ATF oil, but Vetus site says SAE 20/30, and 0.2 litres (1/3 pint) oil. Doesn't sound much, though, the TMC 40 and 40M use the same amount.
There should be 2 marks on the dipstick (at back left of gearbox) and oil level is between them.

Many thanks - just drained the oil and got 4oz out - so 1/3 pint is probably about right - brilliant - can get sailing again now! Thanks!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
