Help needed please!

Hi, new to forum and dont know if i have posted this in right place.

was wondering if anyone could help with my engine problem.

I have read through previous posts regarding xld engines but cannot find anything regarding my actual problem.

Here goes…

It’s a 1.8 ford xld (only run for 20 hours)
Everything working fine, starts on the button and sounds great.
The engine oil pressure switch alarm was sounding so I replaced the switch / sender as I new it had new oil filled to the correct levels and it was getting up to the over head cam etc.
Cut long story short I ended up removing the oil pressure switch from engine and ran the engine  but….no oil worth speaking about came out? So I need some help with what could possibly cause this to happen?

regards Gavin

The oil light switch is normally fed from the same gallery that supplies the crank with oil, it could be a blockage but it sounds like the engine needs to be stripped and checked.

Many thanks for replys, as suggested i spoke with Lancing today and Mike told me where i was going wrong! What a nice helpful chap Mike is :)

turns out to be the orignal vacum shaft needs to be trimed back as it stops the oil getting to the sender location and luckly for me the engine is fine!
