A new baby, a crap summer, and to cut a long story short, Lilian Royle is currently in Newhaven when she should have been in Burnham on Crouch a month ago (when my holidays ended) During the last month I have managed over two weekends to move her from St Malo to Newhaven but I have now run out of time and flexibility. Rather than pay marina fees while waiting for decent weather that corresponds with a free weekend. I was thinking about paying someone to finish the trip. Lilian Royle is a ferro cement gaff rigged smack. She has been through a lot in the last two years (Sardinia and back) we crossed from Alderney to Weymouth two weeks ago in a 7 - 8 gusting 9 . She has a good, completely reliable engine and I would imagine anyone taking on the trip would motor with staysail rather than struggle with an unfamiliar rig. Its achievable I reckon in two long daysails but at present I don't even have a weekend until the end of October and my wife is seriously fed up with being left holding the baby. Does anyone know a delivery skipper who might take this on, ideally immediately, how much would it cost?

May be available, next week - will check on monday. Quals only day skipper cause I couldnt be bothered, but have owned my own 9m cat for 17 years! Would prefer not to do it on my own! and would need at least costs + reasonable contribution to RNLI. What instruments does the boat have, what sort of rig etc.
