Calling all Kayak Instructors!
I am a student of Rochester Math School, Kent, appealing for the aid of any qualified canoe/kayak instructors for a Sport Relief - ‘Kayak the Thames’ effort. My school hold the national record for schools’ Sport Relief, raising £71,175 in 2012 and are recognized as an Official Sport Relief Corporate Partner by the charity Comic Relief.

We, an ambitious and sporty group of 18 years old lads, who have only some experience in Kayaks, plan to navigate the non-tidal Thames (Lechlade to Teddington) in 4 days during March (possibly 14th-17th). We have been sponsored a fleet of boats but due to our inexperience feel we require a qualified instructor to accompany us during the challenge to ensure our safety.
If any instructors would like to join us on this rewarding experience and be part of our school’s amazing Sport Relief effort it would be greatly appreciated. Or if you have any advice please get in touch on here or by email – rossholton@blueyonder.co.uk
