A number of you will know of Nathanlee from this forum.. and have watched his east coast adventures a couple of years back....

For those that haven't come across him, Nathan is a young guy who's moved onto a 21' boat and produces every year, a series of really fun videos covering his exploits...

Having met Nathan, I can confirm that he's a terrific guy, and just as genuine as his posts make him appear...

He's completely broke, so entered a competition to win a self steering system, for which he needs votes... and he's just slipped into second place....

If he wins the kit, then his videos will start to become more ambitious, including hopefully a Biscay crossing, which I for one, and i'm sure many others would love to see!

So... please, please... go vote for Nathan.... we can't let a fellow forumite down!

I have to admit I enjoyed all 3 videos but clearly Nathan's was the best anad got the vote.

Another reason is that in 2009 I lent him a towed log on the understanding that he hands it back at the start to Jester Azores 2012 - so we both need to be there.

PS Glad I am planning to sail JAC2012 in a Cutlass 27 and not a Corribee! :D

He has 51% of the vote! Come on guys, if you have not voted - please do!

Like many others, I would like to see more videos from Nathan, and this steering system will be a godsend to him.

Took ages to figure out where the vote bit was, it looked at first as if the competion had ended but that was tio win a wind up torch. Voting is right at the very botton of the page in case you are like me and are a bit dense today.

what I want to know is if everyone who votes for Nathan gets a free, sorry, Vree, day on board when N passes your home port ? :)
