Over 30 years ago I sailed a 505 dinghy at Helensburgh with a wonderful man called Ernie Rowe (now ~ 65 years old?). Over the last 20 years I have wished I could contact him again. He had a baby son called Alex. In a recent copy of PBO, I saw a letter written by an Alex Rowe (sent by email), concerning his first boat. Could this be his son? Try as I might, I cannot find the letter again. I am sure it is in a recent edition, and near the bottom of a right hand page. Maybe not the "readers letters" section, but in an article. I might have misplaced the mag copy.
I would dearly like to be able to write to Ernie, or Alex, to fill in the missing years.
Does anyone know of Alex Rowe (or (Ernie Rowe).
Please help me to make contact.
