help me find a LED fitting please

I just can't find what I am looking for - it must be there somewhere, but I can't locate it.

What I want is an LED light fitting. A strip light. Cool or warm,no preference. MUST have on/off switch (which is what is giving me difficulty!). If I could find two that can be linked together - even better.

any ideas?
 
I fitted Eterna LED strips that we have on the shelf at work. If you want to have an on/off switch why not just cut the feed and introduce a bullet switch and then re-connect?
 
I fitted a Quest Serial LED Light, it has 120 LED's and runs off 12v or 240v and has an on/off switch and lights my whole saloon. You can string up to three together and I think it's fantastic. I paid £45 at Go Outdoors but I see it is on offer at £36 at present. Certainly worth a look. Andy
 
Fluorescent fittings can be converted to LED for pennies. A roll of LEDs from Ebay will do a whole boat.

It's also easy to fit a switch in an unswitched lamp.

So if you cannot find exactly what you want, pick the one you really like the look of and convert to LED or add a switch.

I have also converted all my old Fluorescent fittings with low cost LED strips. Some I use warm white some cool white and I have even fitted with both white and red LED strips with separate switches for night time sailing.

thank you for not wanting to sound over critical, but I have been looking for about a year for something that is attractive, easy to fit, has a switch and is the right size. I have spoken to Furneaux Riddell, Boatlamps, and several others who were unable to offer what I was looking for. I'm clearly rubbish at search terminology and I am impressed that you are much better at internet searching that I am. This is one of the reasons that the pool of knowledge on the forums is so helpful. Maybe knowing to use the term 'switched' would have helped me. Thank you for the hints.
 
ATEN lighting is your saviour - they are excellent, will make up exactly what you want - just fitted a strip light on our boat over the sink, linked in with the standard light and it's superb. Also fitted one in the motorhome operated with a door switch.
