help .. manual needed for whitlock pedestal steering

Hello folks, a friend's steering failed the other day and we need a technical manual to help us fix it .. The steering is by Whitlock it must be fairly old .. The autopilot still works but the linkage to the wheel has become disconnected somehow.

Maxpower, welcome to the forum

I doubt that a manual is necessary because they are fairly simple. Let me suggest that you have a good dig about and I am sure the problem will be obvious eg a linkage might have come undone.

By the way, what sort of boat are you talking about here?

Thanks chaps, The boat is a NAB35. I have been informed that Progress has been made on the steering and we should indeed get by without a manual. I say we, but I am nowhere near the boat at the moment.
