Acetone
Gelcoat repair kit
Can anyone reccomend a polish for finishing?
and somwhere that does mail order go faster stripes and lettering

polish? keep going with v. fine wet & dry dipping into suds and water. Have you a good match for gelcoat or is it white? 3M boat polish + wax has a v. fine restorer in it for see-yer-face-in-it type finish.

no idea what you'd use for go faster stuff (does it work? i mean!)

yip its white
sorry have wet and dry ready too

am now looking for 3m suppliers in N wales

the stripes were on it alreadythey do work inn the way they work on capris
may hot gun off the whole lot to make it match down thew sides and by new stripes that cover the repair

have binned wetsuit for the weekend now and am packing overalls instead

Wet and Wild graphics in Hamble do lettering/stripes etc. You can order on internet or over phone. Web site - www.wild-graphics.co.uk. Give em a ring, they very helpful, clever chaps, even gave me a free lesson on how to put name on boat without botching it and having to pay someone to do it for me. They will probably know what lettering and stripes your boat needs too.

There used to be a 3M agent on the Hawarden Industrial Estate. I would hope that this ex WWII airfield site was demolished years ago, but chances are it's still there.
