Any help gratefully received.

I have done some google work on this and all I can say is that I am none the wiser. The markings only seem to point to a generic cable spec. The cables diameter (inc insulation) is approx 20mm

Thanks

A quick google suggests Pont cavi is the manufacturer (Italian) PONT CAVI ELETTRICI - S.R.L. - IN LIQUIDAZIONE (gone bust by the looks of it)
cei 20 - 22 11 looks to be an Italian cable standard for flame retardent cables (Comitato Elettrotecnico Italiano EN 50363 Insulating, sheathing and covering materials for low voltage energy cables)

The last bit's probably the size?

Can you get an accurate diamter of just the conductor? Don't think you'll get the answer you want with the information provided. Sometimes the terminals have the cablesize on them. Can you see anything?

Tough, mainly because of heat shrink, that I am loathed to cut away. I will take another look and see what I can see. I have also emailed Azimut, so they may reply also.......

Thanks Adey, well found. That document states 95mm if 18.5 O/D, so 2 of them going to the bow thruster would be good news as I would not need to upgrade.

I don't think so.
"c.r." is normally used as an abbreviation for "carico di rottura", i.e. breaking load.
Actually, it should also specify whether the 2000 is meant as daN or kgf - not that it makes a big difference, anyway.
And even less so considering the application!

PS: spot on re. all your other explanation, well found indeed. :)

Thanks everyone for your input, Azimut have just replied that 95mm cable is used throughout the AZ46, so that is 2 x 95mm for positive and 2 x 95mm for negative to the bow thruster, which is nicely over spec :)
