Hmm. Not sure.

Looks like a Dell Quay Ranger?
-----------------------------

I can see your reasoning but I wonder if it is an ex RN launch that has been rather well converted?

I'm also not sure if it's a Dell Quay Ranger. I think MikeT may be on the money - many years ago, my Dad owned an ex Services launch, around the 30 foot mark, that I believe was used for retrieving test torpedoes. It looked similar to the boat in the picture, though it was of considerably greater vintage - probably WW2. Double diagonal construction, so the wood bit rings true.

The BMPT have a similar - but a bit bigger - seaplane tender.

Side decks too wide for a Dell Quay, They don't have a wheel house and it is a bit further back. The engine room covers are different on a Dell Quay.

BUT it DOES have that look and feel about it, perhaps it's the Dell Quay that looks ex-millitary??
